Stayed in a nice size twin room with comfortable beds. Location: the hotel was really close to the main touristic attractions, good restaurants and the centre of the old town...

We stayed for one night and definitely plan to return as the room was very spacious with climate control, an ironing set, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

I recently stayed at Guest House Stories for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. The location was perfect, right in the center of town. The facilities were great, especially the spacious kitchen and outside terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a nice touch of being themed after Portuguese writers. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. a great hotel!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Guest House Stories in Beja were fantastic! They had everything I needed, like a comfy bed, a wardrobe for my clothes, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The private bathroom was also a plus, and the bed linen and towels were provided. I loved that the rooms had air conditioning and free WiFi, which made my stay even more comfortable. The terrace and seating area were lovely additions too, providing a nice place to relax.
Personally, I found the wardrobe in the room a bit small for my liking. However, I understand that it might not be an issue for everyone, especially if you're traveling light.

Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, but had to run to catch my flight at Faro Airport. The continental option was quite tempting too!
The nearest attraction, Castelo de Beja, is only 400 meters away. Gee, what a hassle to have something interesting nearby!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great central location in the old historical center. Nice breakfast buffet with tasty coffee and local sourdough bread. Comfortable new beds.
Slightly slow to get proper hot water in the shower. the bathroom door was partly see-through glass, which might not be comfortable for everyone.

Great central location , excellent facilities, spacious and clean rooms, themed decor, and dedicated to Portuguese writers. Outstanding breakfast, new mattresses, friendly staff, and comfortable beds. Despite having to park far, the location was still great, the hostel was clean, and the staff was delightful. Perfect AC for warm nights, and a suggestion to add a night light and second chair in the room. a great hotel experience.
